Perhaps the most noticed improvement made at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery has been the development of The Internment Chapel. The internment Chapel service does not change the conduct of funerals. It is simply a place the final religious service in the chapel rather than at the grave site. In addition to providing greater comfort and convenience to the family and mourners, the atmosphere of the chapel permits the final religious service to be free from the distractions of unpleasant weather. Traditional graveside services will be conducted at the request of the family.
Holy Sepulcher Cemetery is owned and operated by the seven Catholic parishes in South Milwaukee and Cudahy. The land was consecrated in 1904 by the Archbishop of Milwaukee to fulfill the needs of the catholic community in the area. In response to the requests of the people, four Mausoleum structures have been constructed. The last building was completed in 2007. Come and see our new garden niche.
The decision to purchase a pre-need burial site is a very personal choice. We believe it is the responsibility of the Catholic Church to provide for the final wishes of its members. The choices are yours. If you desire more information we ask that you contact the cemetery office at 762-2860.
